QUEENSLAND TRAIL-RUNNING EVENTS
The Sunshine Coast is more than just surf and sand. From the towering volcanic plugs of the Glass House Mountains to the sub-tropical forests and dry scrub of the Blackall Range, Run Qld will take you on new trail running adventures. We have six fantastic trail running events catering to beginners through to the elite. Come along and be part of our supportive trail running community.

October 17-18, 2026
Ring the Blackall bell as you cross the finish line at this iconic event on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Distances 100km, 50km & 21km.
November 14th, 2026
The Sunshine Coast's own Backyard Ultra.
6.7km on the hour every hour.
December 6th, 2026
Run with the rising sun at this early morning event at the base of Mt Beerwah. Distances 10km, half marathon & marathon.
January 30th, 2027
Experience night running on the trails around Mt Beerwah. Distances 10km, half marathon & marathon.
July 31st, 2027
Marvel at pristine nature at Queensland's most spectacular trail event. Distances 11km, Half marathon & marathon.
